Here we invite you to learn more about the talented creative forces we have collaborated with to launch our first collection. We searched near and far to find the most gifted artists, artisans and curators to partner with to give twelvehome a bespoke experience. Find out more about each of them here.
Chrissy Crawford - ArtStar
Chrissy started her career at the Aspen Art Museum and then in 2015 moved to London to complete a Masters in Art Business at Sotheby’s Institute during this time she also worked for a London based art advisory. Chrissy came to New York in 2007 to open her own art advisory firm. And launched ArtStar in 2010 to make the art market more accessible, and add the ease of e-commerce to the art collecting process. She was named a “New Yorker to Know” by Gotham Magazine and “One of the Most Discerning Young Collectors in the World” by Modern Painters.
Victoria Rothwell - Design House of Moira
Victoria Rothwell creates vibrant floral artwork and exquisite calligraphy and incorporates her design into prints and wedding invitations. An artist at heart, you’ll find her with paint under her manicured nails at all times. A San Diego native, she started her company Design House of Moira in 2007 to help countless brides and event planners turn their artistic vision into reality. Victoria also founded Design House Prep School teaching other creatives to turn their artistic passion into a their livelihood.
Laura Park - Laura Park Interiors
Laura’s artistic passion was born in her grandmother’s studio in Lexington, NC. She loved going with her grandmother to the fabric stores where Laura would collect brightly colored scraps from the floor to take home to piece together for patchwork quilts. Her passion for color blossomed into paintings from which she designs textiles, wall coverings, home decor, and personal accessories. Laura lives in Charlotte with her husband, Trip, as well as her four children and three dogs.
Cathy Brown - Modern Archive
Cathy Brown is a textile designer who has worked around the globe for various cutting-edge luxury textile mills. In 2012, Cathy founded Modern Archive where she continues to develop original, subtle and fun designs. She champions the work of Tibetan and Nepali weavers that support her vision and help turn her magical concepts into reality. Cathy graduated from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Textile Design. Cathy lives and works in NYC.
